“Rules are not necessarily sacred, principles are.”

The ChindAsia Club Dress Code is smart casual. Special occasions, which will be announced by the Club, will require either a jacket, a jacket and tie, or black tie/tuxedo. At no time will casual attire such as open shoes, T-shirts, collarless shirts, tank tops, or other casual or less than casual attire, be acceptable no matter who the member or guest is.
All members and guests situated in the lounge area MUST adorn a jacket after 9:00pm (not enforced in other areas of the club).
The Club hours are Monday thru Friday from noon to late and Saturdays and Sunday from 4:00pm to late (typically 1:00am to 3:00am depending on customers, but if nobody is in the lounge at midnight, we will close).
Cigarettes are strictly forbidden anywhere INSIDE the club.
Ladies and Gentlemen are expected to maintain the highest standards of integrity at all times. Any members that are disrespectful, rude, drunk or disorderly will be asked to leave the premises.
At no time are telephone calls to be made or taken in The Lounge. If your phone makes any noise (or you speak on your phone), you buy a round of drinks for everyone in the club (of which half the proceeds go to charity).
All member bills are to be settled each night before departure from the club. Members take full responsibility for any charges incurred by their guests. “House Accounts” are the preferred method of payment, whereby members simply sign their bill and as their house account nears zero, members may top up their “House Account” with cash, Visa/MC or American Express credit cards. House account credits are good for any items sold on premises and exclude items delivered from the outside to the club, such as food deliveries. Once a “House Account” has been created, the funds within the house account may be used for all Club expenses. All house accounts that are delinquent must be brought up to date by the 5th of the following month. The Club consists of ladies and gentlemen where your word is your bond. Any delinquent house accounts are subject to interest charges and the possibility of non-entry to the club until the account is brought up to date.
The ChindAsia Club is a popular venue amongst its patrons. Therefore priority usage of our facilities must be given to our members over guests. As a standard privilege, members are permitted one guest at all times. If a member wishes to bring more than one guest, he or she should seek approval with the Club management prior to the visit. Guests are required to present identification at the reception area. No guest will be allowed within the lounge or library area until the member is present. During this time, the members’ guest MUST remain in The Bar area only. Members will be given first rights to seating over guests at management discretion.
